"AMUKTHAMALAYADA" the story starts from Sri Krishna deva raya came to Srikakulam(Krishna District) and stayed at Andhra Maha Vishnu Temple on the way to Kalinga desam (War). Srikakula Andhra Maha Vishnu told to Sri krishna Devaraya to wrote his stories in Telugu in his Dream. Krishna Devaraya told his dream to Appaji and starts his poetry name “AMUKTHAMALYADA” at Srikakulam. He describes the main story in the “Amukthamalayada” at his Bhuvana Vijaya Sabha . The main story is Godha kalyanam.
Godha, Daughter of Vishnuchitta loves Lord Sri Ranganadha and she made garlands and send to the temple with her father Vishnu chitta to decorate Sri Ranganadha and told her desire to marry Sri Ranganadha. Lord Vishu also loves her and sends Siva, parvati and Brahma, Saraswathi to talk to Vishnuchitta to fix the marriage with Godha Devi. Vishuchitta accepted lord Vishunu’s proposal happily and requested him to come to Villiputhur to marry his Godha devi. Godha Devi and Sri Ranganadha marriage was held at Villuputhuru. Sri krishna Devaraya completed “AMUKTHAMALYADA” with different stories and dedicated to Lord Vishnu
